Apple pode liberar o uso do Flash

Será que a briga da Apple com a Adobe chegou ao fim. Será que finalmente Steve Jobs chegou à conclusão de que barrar o Flash no iPhone e outros gadgets da Apple é uma posição que só prejudica a Apple?


Seja qual for as respostas para essas perguntas, o certo é que a Apple acabou de anunciar que dará uma aliviada nas regras para desenvolvimento de softwares para o iOS. Ou seja, a Apple ouviu milhões de reclamações dos desenvolvedores por conta das severas restrições de uso de códigos de terceiros e resolveu relaxar um pouco.

Não sei se na prática isso vai permitir que os desenvolvedores poderão inserir o Flash em seus programas. de qualquer modo as ações da Adobe subiram mais de 11 por cento depois que a Apple anunciou a mudança.

Mas é preciso estar ciente que a Apple não permite que os aplicativos desenvolvidos para o iPhone, iPad ou iPod Touch baixem código de terceiros. E como o uso do Flash requer o uso de um plugin que precisa ser baixado do site da Adobe, tenho lá as minhas dúvidas à respeito dessa euforia toda. Para saber o que as novas regras significam na prática teremos que esperar alguns dias, ou semanas.

Outra mudança há muito reclamada pelos desenvolvedores diz respeito ao modo como a Apple faz a aprovação, ou não, dos softwares enviados para Apple Store. A partir de agora a empresa pretende divulgar como funciona o processo, e promete tornar mais transparente a relação entre a empresa e os desenvolvedores.
